Privacy Policy
Light Learning, by TRI1 Space Technologies Inc. · Last updated 19 August 2026
The short version
Light Learning does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third parties. Everything your child does stays on the device.
We have written this policy in plain language because a policy a parent cannot read is not consent.
What we collect
Nothing.
We do not collect a name, an email address, a phone number, a photograph, a location, a contact list, an advertising identifier, or a device identifier. We do not ask a child to create an account, because there is nothing to create one for.
What the app stores, and where
Light Learning stores your child's progress on the device itself, so the app works with no internet connection at all:
- which topics have been opened and mastered, and how many stars
- XP, streak and badges earned
- minutes practised each day for the last thirty days, so a parent can see a trend
- how many questions were answered and how many were right, by subject
- the chosen curriculum, grade, buddy, language and accessibility settings
- any topics a grown-up has set as next
- best scores in the games
This information never leaves the device. It is not uploaded, backed up to us, or shared. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, it is gone.
Children
Light Learning is made for children, and it is designed so that a child cannot give anything away:
- there is no way to type a message to anybody
- there is no chat, no comments, no usernames and no leaderboards
- there is nothing to upload and nothing to share
- links out of the app are behind a parental gate
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect personal information at all.
Payments
If you subscribe, the payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card details, your name or your billing address. Apple tells the app only whether a subscription is active. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.
Analytics and advertising
There are none. No Google Analytics, no Firebase, no Facebook SDK, no advertising network, no attribution tracking, no crash-reporting service that ships your data elsewhere.
This is unusual, and it is deliberate. It also means we cannot tell you how many people use a particular feature, which is a trade we have chosen to make.
Your rights
Because we hold nothing about you, there is nothing for us to show you, correct or delete. Everything is on your device and under your control. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Changes
If this ever changes (if we add a feature that genuinely needs a server) we will say so here, and we will say what changed and why, before the feature ships.
